The song may no longer be fresh and PSY may no longer be unknown, but it continues to be hugely popular after it became the first video to break two billion cumulative views on YouTube. We haven’t embedded this for two reasons: you’ve already seen it – you’re sick to death of it — and what’s cuter is this GIF that shows the amusing caricatures added by Google/YouTube to mark the milestone. YouTube adds support for 4K resolution videos

YouTube today announced it has added support for more 4K resolution videos. In addition to 720p (HD), 1080p (Full HD), and 1440p (4K), some videos now have an Ultra HD option in the Settings wheel on the site. Chordify’s chord-generating platform for SoundCloud and YouTube music goes premium with new features

Music Guitar1 Chordifys chord generating platform for SoundCloud and YouTube music goes premium with new features

Last year we brought you news on Chordify, a service that lets budding guitarists upload songs, or copy/paste URLs from YouTube or SoundCloud, and see exactly what chords to play. That’s it in a nutshell, at least.

Now, the Netherlands-based service is launching a Premium version, which reels in many of the features requested by users over the past twelve months. Costing €5.99/month, €49.99/year or €99 for life, subscribers will gain access to chord transposing, chord printouts, playback-speed altering, and personal library management.

The company claims an impressive two million monthly users, with one million songs ‘Chordified’ to date. Chordify Premium will officially debut this coming Friday, at the ESNS ‘14 conference in Groningen, Netherlands.
